Got some new Reptiles today

I went to the White Plains Show today and came home with some new reptiles:


2 Red Eyed Croc Skinks to accompany my 1


2 Ball Python Hatchlings



1 HUGE & MEAN Female Amazon Tree Boa (Garden Phase) for my male

She's PURTY!! Too bad amazons are so tempermental! Nice croc skinks! I have never seen them!! could I see another pic!?! Those are so cool!! I aint kidding,I have messed with reptiles forever and never sen them! Are they pricey?

They can be a bit pricey but when buying in small lots you can get them a bit cheaper. I have seen them as low as 40.00 and as high as 80.00.

Man those really are nice.And I really mean that!!! Wow! i think I may have to do some researching on husbandry and maybe,just maybe get a few! Are they fairly easy to care for? Those are really nice ChrisNCT !! :worship: :drool:

These guys are very easy. They are somewhat secretive....like it dark,cool and mosit.

They are used to temps in the high 60 to about 80. I feed mine every two weeks a coupel crickets and I have no problems yet with the one that I have had for a long time. The females lay one egg at a time. It's one of the only lizards that can vocalize. They make sounds at night or when pissed. They get very mad at excessive handling. They are good in enclosures close to 10 gallons for up to 5 Crock Skinks. They are very communal!

They are fun...now all I need is about 9 more.

Although I'm probably not as experienced as kraken, I can't get over how cool these guys are either!! :eek: :D How big do they generally get? Thanks so much for sharing Chris!!

Chris - Not trying to step on your toes or anything about the care, but I found this and thought it would be helpful. :D Which also told me their size! How much do these guys usually go for?

Na...no sweat! Better to be safe than sorry when it comes to the care of animals.

I have a line on a number of them for 40.00 each.....
