My mystery spider made an egg sack. http://www.arachnoboards.com/ab/showthread.php?s=&threadid=15713 Should I just let the babies eat each other until theyre big enough to separate and eat pinheads? Should I not bother? let the mom eat em? Wish I knew if it was native to where I live...Id let them go in my yard. (we found her wandering on a shipping dock, have NO idea where she came from or what she is) Anyone want the eggsack? :D

I'm sure they would do fine outside. It's an Araneus species, orbweaver. The eggsack probably won't hatch until spring. The ones I saw here last fall didn't hatch until spring. You could always hold onto it until it hatches and then let them go outside (if it's warming up and all). Does the mother create a large orb web?

Best wishes,

paul
