............. and she's nowhere to be found!!!!!! :wall:
I picked her up at the pet store during my lunch break and kept in her the truck and checked on her periodically while on my way to pick up my step-son. She seemed to be doing just fine and then when I got home, I finished setting up her cage and then went for the box she was in. The box didn't have a lid that comes off, it was basically a flip top that comes down about 4" from the top, so it's not like the lid popped off or anything.
I searched the truck and couldn't find her and I now have a heat lamp in my living room pointed down at the floor in case she escaped while inside my home and feels drawn to the heat. Is there anything else I can do? I'm going to turn off all the lights also, in case the light is what's keeping her hiding, if she's hiding somewhere at home.
Thanks.
EDIT: I found her in the truck this morning! Poor little girl was very cold to the touch, but visibly alive. I cupped her in my hands and put my hands under a heat light for a few minutes and then she was fully awake and crawled around and flicked her tongue and looked fully recovered.
