Some basic science for you- oh who needs plants to be pollinated anyway, let them all die!

Habitat loss, pesticides, and climate change are key causes of this decline, according to the researchers.

When I was a kid, a drive in the country resulted in a windshield plastered with died insects. Not so much anymore.

See less insects and bugs each year. The butterfly bush used to have much more pollinators.

not to forget mowed and weeded lawns

they drink up a ton of water and give nothing back to natures pollinators

"kill that lawn", if you have one!
plant native plants instead :^)

I wonder how either of the 2 mass butterfly migrations on earth are holding up now? Both in the USA and in Taiwan, they pass through some serious chemical agriculture areas. 1 of the 2 here in Taiwan come down to near my area in winter. They literally park in the most aprayed place in this country (Meinong and Gaoshu). I have always found this fascinating, how little the government cares. I wonder if this is the case with the US/Mexican migrations?

In countries like the US/Canada there are massive tracts of strata type housing which can sometimes pretty much null anything natural and wild. Almost as if kept lawns or concrete are the mandate, it's a hard thing to do for such people.

Kill the strata while we're at it haha

Who ever started that trend? It's resource intensive, and it's a bloody waste of my time. But I don't want to be the only Bohemian in the neighborhood, and I plan on selling and downsizing someday. The next owner is going to want his curb appeal.

Beautiful Butterflies should be protected. ' Diurnal Pollinators '

Magnificent Moths often get overlooked. ' Nocturnal Pollinators'

Save The Moths.

There are 10 times more moths than butterflies. Every once in a blue moon (literally?), I'll find a Polyphemus around here.
