Are Goliath Beetles illegal in the States, period? ...or just in CA?

I think they are illegal in the States period. Something about not being able to have pets that can ravage crops.... I will look into it for you although I believe I first saw something about it on the arachnoboard forums.

I should've searched this forum before posting a new thread... lack of espresso, I guess. Brain fart!

Anyhow, yep.. they are restricted by USDA to protect agriculture. I'll snoop around and see what I can find, though.

No problem. What I suggest is gettimg some Goliaths in Europe or something and bringing them to the states. Or try to work something out with someone who has them in the states and set up a secret hush hush trade.
