Okay, so in a few weeks, I'm going on a 2-week vacation to another state.
The question is in feeding.
I can't lug my Ts along, so I can't feed them.
I have an A avic juvie, 3 inches, and I know that he can go 2 weeks without food.
Now here's my question, I have a G pulchra sling, 1.5 inches, and I remember reading that slings need to be fed a bit more often.
Will my sling survive without food for two weeks?

Edit: Whoops, just noticed that I posted this in the wrong section. Can I get this moved to discussions?

I have sort of the same question,we will be gone for two weeks and will be leaving our Chilean Rosehair. She is an adult,if we feed her well before we leave, and fill up her water dish will she be alright?

yes OP your little sling will be fine, i would say just feed it well before you leave :)

and to Heatherbear, I would say that if you feed and put out water for your rosea and left even 6 months she would be fine. Now I wouldnt recommend it, but they have been known to fast for months on end.

They will be fine. I recently came home from a 10 day trip & all of mine from my slings to my big T.blondi are still fat & happy. I fed all my T's & scorps the day before leaving & added xtra water dishes for a few that really suck down fluids. My big L.para that was in premolt, my blondi, B.vagans, A.geniculata, and M.robustum. I still had to refill dishes the night I came in but you'll find most T's can go easily for weeks without a feed with no problems.
No worries, have a good trip & enjoy your time off.
