Well i was out in my front yard and we have a wasp nest behind our outdoor window shutters, these cuckoo wasps - usually are found around other bee and wasp nests, so they can lay their eggs in and use the bee's and wasps as hosts.

That one was hovering around my head, i found another one outside the other day -- i don't see them much at all.

Poecilotheria Striata

and Grammastola Rosea

i know, this might scare a few people
but while we did some maintenancing cleaning and checking up of tarantulas, we handled the poec.s for the first time - this thing was so fast, we were so suprised, even though we had seen a lot of videos of it

the first place it crawled on was my husbands BUTT , i was like "let me get the camera", then in a zippy it was on his head, like.........uhhhhhhhh
quite an experience, i told him to slowly remove his top so that it would not get stuck or crammed in certain places we couldn't reach

^^ on his face :S

and pinktoe on his face (all the time we were close to the ground, so no accidents would partake)
