I breed and raise Hissers for food. I was wondering if anyone knows how to tell when they are actually giving birth. I have a female that is laying on her back on just keeps hissing. I just had one of my female give birth to about 20-30 nymphs but I did not get to witness it, so I do not know what to expect. I do know she is gravid though.

After keeping Hissers off and on for years, I watched a big female give birth to 30+ little ones. They are pure white, Like grains of rice. The real interesting thing was the little ones were swarming all over the big female. They would zip to the back of her and then zip underneath her. They were little speed demons. Kinda neat to watch..
