I just got a sling and she is extremely tiny how would I go by giving it water? Is just misting the walls good enough?

Lots of people don't provide water dishes and instead wet a corner of substrate or provide a ball of sphagnum moss which they wet, so the sling can drink.
I use a cut to size tablet blister (which is washed + rinsed well prior) which has worked great for all my slings, even for the burrowers who like to fill or bury it in substrate
Whichever method you use, you need to keep on top of it, so that there is always water available for them to drink, as you never know when they'll really need it. I do daily checks and refill as necessary :)

What species is it? How small is "extremely tiny" actually? What kind of enclosure do you have? Please post pictures! :)

Most tarantulas do not react well to misting.
and over watering is a pretty common way owners can kill their slings.
Misting the wall is fine if it can easily get to the spot.
some water on the sub will do fine.
slings need slightly wet sub, it's just part of sling care.
tarantulas do not drown.

Moistening a corner or half the enclosure is another option, especially for a sling.

I use tattoo ink caps as sling water dishes. They work great and you can buy 200 for about 5$

Pretty much all slings (aside from baboons) SHOULD be kept on damp substrate.

Just keep the substrate slightly moist, I pipette a few drops of water into the sub as required.
