Gigantea "Robusta" finally eats

Well...My 6 inch Scolopendra Gigantea species ( Old Robusta) did not eat since last November....molted December 1st....at the head off a cricket about three weeks ago. I was getting worried because it would just not eat. I was keeping it at 80 degrees too.
I decided to give it an adult blaptica dubia male because I has a few to spare. It went nuts ! The peed nailed the roach and is now finally eatting !! I suppose it just did not like crickets......might try feeding your centipede roaches. I am sure they are a more natural feeder. :D

Nice to know...I have two of these giant 'pedes being shipped in next week... I'm in the process of setting up some roach colonies...

Yeah my tiny 4 inch s. polymorpha also loves b. dubia adult males. I give him the upper part of the roach cut in half, and he would eat the little fella from the inside out, leaving only a empty (occasionally still alive!) half shell of a roach in the morning.
