Getting my orchids on thursday

Yeah, here i am again, wondering if anyone can give me some advice with my orchids im getting. At £15 a pop, i dont think i will be able to get any more any time soon, or ever for that matter.
Quite simply, care sheets are good, but i need first hand advice from real people, any little tricks or advice anyone can give me?
(also i will put photos up of my new babies when they arrive!)

The Orchid mantids will do better if feed flying food IMO. Flys, moths, etc. This makes them a little hard to feed. I kept mine on a plastic flower.

Flying food - not a problem, (got a nice violin colony - so i have alot of flies) Do you feed your flies anything before feeding them to your mantids? By moths, do you mean i should use wax moths?
Also what humidity do you keep yours at?
