Hey guys - so being in the forum again made me realize I'm kind of lacking on the knowledge and general information that has changed over the years. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on maybe books or websites to expand my knowledge again - maybe with weekly/monthly updates on what is new? Or where research articles are often shared, etc.

I do listen to podcasts as much as I can to try to keep up to date, but it's mainly when I'm driving and boyfriend isn't in the car as he couldn't care less, and it's generally not as often as I'd like as I work from home.

I've mainly had the same spiders now for the last decade and got a small batch of new guys a few months back to get back into different species but overall need to get back into the scientific part of everything. Hopefully that isn't too vague of a request!

Honestly, the forums here on arachnoboards IS the cutting edge. There are highly academic sources that contain the most recent classification-type data, but it's relayed here in near-real time anyways. I was in the same boat as yourself there, but nearly everything that's out there ends up circling back here, in one way or another....

Tom’s Big Spiders (Tom Moran). He has YouTube videos galore and a podcast. No better advise on the web (other than here, but he’s also a member here)
Dave’s Little Beasties is good, too. There are a few here that post scientific finds, research papers and the like. Theraphosid Research Team posts here as well.

Thank you, I'll check the other two out! Tom's big spiders is the main one I have on every week already, it's always informative. I know he mentions arachnoboards a bunch which is why I remembered to come back to it!
