My sister is buying me an 07 female caramel motley corn snake for my birthday. I've been wanting a corn snake for a while, and was going to get one of their hatchlings this year, but thought it would be more fun to get something they don't already have. When she reaches breeding age, we'll breed her to a sunglow motley, which should make some nice butter motleys. I'm so excited! They'll be picking her up on friday after they get paid, and i'll probably get her friday or monday.

Congrats, personally I think Corns are one of the best pet snakes going. I'm not into motleys or even morphs to much but I do have a few morphs.
I'll look forward to seeing pics of your hatchlings in a few years.

Happy Birthday! Do you have an escape proof tank ready for your new pet?

your more than welcome, you might also check serpwidgets (sp?) genetics page, there may even be a link through Kathy Love's site.

Congrats!!!! Cornsnakes are some of the best/easiest snakes to have.

Unlike ball pythons corn snakes are pigs and they are real easy to get on food and they eat anything and everything. Also unlike ball pythons cornsnakes are not imprint feeders when i had my corn snakes i fed them whatever the pet shop would sell me from mice to parakeets and they ate em all. I love corn snakes.....

She's a little brat, skittish from being in the pet store since last year, but she'll get used to the handling eventually... Now she's soaking in her water bowl.

Congrats on the new Corn, my daughters favourite. When it's finished soaking you'll have a good opportunity to check the water for any mites, just for peace of mind.

Good luck

Damo
