Hi,
I need some help with my Geosesarma spec. Iron Fist crabs.
For some time now my female geosesarma had been really slow and apathetic. She didn't want to eat anything and was just hiding. I thought she was in pre-molt and after a few days she actually did molt. But after this she still didn't eat and her colours were really dull. I tried feeding them different things, grated cucumber, carrot zucchini, blueberries, grapes, banana, both dead and alive mealworms, rehydrated dried crickets, fish food flakes and tropical fish food consisting of bloodworms, brine shrimps, different mosquito larvas and water fleas. I even tried some soaked up dry cat food. The males were happy with everything but the female didn't eat.
Today I found her dead.
I just wonder if I made some mistake while caring for them, these are my first geosesarma crabs so I'm worried.
They have a terrarium full of hiding places, large water dish with quartz sand, both live and fake plants. Substrate is a mix of fine sand, peat, beetle fix, small amount of aspen shavings and coconut fiber. There are springtails and live moss too with some cuttlefish bone pieces and lime powder for calcium mixed in. Temperature is usually between 23 to 25 C and 70% - 80% humidity with mild changes to both. The male crabs seem to be fine and roam around for now.
The water I use is treated with aquarium water conditioner that removes chlorine and heavy metals from tap water.

Could be, although I didn't see them really interacting together. I might have missed it though...
The female had dug a nice little hole for herself in the corner and the males didn't really go near it. There hasn't been any fights between the males either. I have had them for a few weeks now.
