Who is going to stop them? No one has control of the CCP or their quest for world domination.

The scientific community are highly intelligent but many lack common sense or have a moral compass. If it can be done then it must be done in the name of science.

Like successfully cloning in 1996 a lamb named Dolly. Laws were passed to try and stop the cloning experimentation of humans. Like I said, if it can be done then it must be done in the name of science.

There's no way to prove that some in the scientific community didn't branch off and start cloning a human in secret.

Bring us to currently and a group of researchers successfully create dire wolves using genetic manipulation. What's the purpose? Is it because they could or is there a benefit? What's next and where and when does it stop?

I always believed that is impossible. I hope it never becomes possible. I can't imagine nor want to that any good DNA can ever be obtained. That or someone figures out how to rebuild and sequence dinosaur DNA.

If they do I hope I'm long passed from this planet.
