Gbif is wrong

When i search up Zodarion for oregon in gbif it doesn't show up, why? Zodarion is present in oregon

Because nobody has uploaded a properly identified record of the genus yet. GBIF doesn't tell you the complete known distribution of organisms, it shows the data that meets its standards that it currently has access to.

One of the biggest sources of data for GBIF is Inaturalist. If you search for Zodarion in Oregon on Inaturalist there are several photos, but none of them have been identified to species level, which means they aren't considered "research grade" and are excluded from GBIF.

Exactly. GBIF has a scientific criteria that must be met. The good old qualified recognized paper trail.
