So I picked up some Zilla Desert Blend Ground English Walnut Shells was wondering if it’s Safe image.jpg to mix with some coco fiber for a more natural look and to give the GBB more of its nature

safe yes- but no T walks on crushed walnuts. Nor crushed coconuts 🥥.

walnuts are a bit like using sand, I stopped using it a very long time ago

I’m sure it will work fine and it’s safe, but have I used it? Nope. And would I? Not likely not unless it was free.

Coco fibre and walnut shells. That's about as unnatural as it gets. What the others said.

You can use it! It works wonders for cleaning engine valves with a blasting gun.

As everybody say, topsoil.

You can mix little bit of it with topsoil or coco fibe, but I don't see any point of it for GBB.
I would say save it and use it for your other future projects.
People mix sand with other substrate for planting purpose in bio-active setup, but remember GBB is an arid species.
