I've acquired a 0.75" GBB sling from Jamie's. It came with the enclosure and everything. I know to keep it hydrated, etc.
I'm simply here to look for a second opinion on how often I should feed it. At the moment, I'm giving it one small cricket (pre-injured/semi-killed) every 5-6 days. Is this a good waiting time between meals? Should I feed more often, or space out the meals a bit more?

You can feed slings pretty often. I feed mine every other day or so. You can't overfeed slings, all that food just gets put into growth.

Just be sure you never leave live feeders in there unsupervised.

I do too have one from Jamie’s. I initially purchased as 3/4” and it’s freshly molted a few days ago. I expect it to be about 1” now I guess.

I feed small pinhead roaches every three days. (Not after molt)

I keep it dry, with a water dish full.

As its abdomen is small you need to feed it more often imo. I think it has molted very recently so it can do with a couple of good sized meals. Just pre kill some large feeders and throw it in. :) 'Gbb' rarely refuse food, only when a molt is coming. Feed it until it is not interested in food anymore.

I always have it the enclosure close to keep an eye out :) I'm being extremely cautious, hence the question for reassurance. It's too cute ❤. Watching it eat is pretty thrilling.

I've raised quite a few GBBs. You are not feeding the sling enough. It won't die mind at this rate, just grow quite slowly. I feed my GBB slings as often as they will eat more or less.

Lol, I would feed weekly.

In reality it all depends on the size of the meals. You could feed huge meals every 10-14 days or feed tiny prey items every other day and achieve the same basic growth rates.

As said, you can't over-feed a sling, but the sooner its filled, the longer it will fast in pre-molt.

I feed my GBB and Versi slings a small cricket about every three days. They never refuse a meal on that schedule, for me at least, unless they are pre-molt. My GBB pre-molted for about a week last time, my Versi only for about 3 days.
