got a GBB male for a great price today will be getting him in wednesday im so hype i only paid $50 for him plus shipping not bad hes about 3.25inches and my female is only 3.75 she gonna be happy in the future

i would feed him really slow. they can hook out on the small side sometimes. i'd say that he will probably hook out in about 2 molts or so.

at what size can u mate the GBB .....what is the maximum growth span 5 inches or a little less

Just an FYI krack, GBB are notoriously difficult to breed because the females tend to kill the males almost every time.

Congrats on your new spiders though. They are one of my faves.

I'm part of tarantula club Ny,Nj,and Pa club its one club for those 3 states um we bred a pair of GBB a few months ago not eating of the male will happen as long a u watch over them but I will take that into account.......also does anyone know what the sack counts are like for the GBB

I believe sac counts for GBB's are around 80-125. I believe Ryan recently had a sac around 100.

Eating of the males happens no matter what when it's going to happen, and being there to watch it only adds to the horror.
