Hello guys...
I'm confused waiting for my GBB to lay eggs, it's been almost 7 months since mating there is no sign of GBB laying eggs. did i fail? Or should I wait more patiently?

I've never bred T's before, but I've heard for some species it can take weeks to lay an egg sac whereas others can take many months. What's her condition like? When my C versi laid a phantom sac, her abdomen became extremely swollen beforehand. Interested to hear from those experienced in breeding this species.

No direct experience, dude I chat to regularly has said there have been a few occasions he has waited 8/9 months before a sac is dropped.
I'd not give up hope until she decides to chuck a molt out at you.

(friend is currently into month 6 and "sick of playing with temps")

There is not set time frame as to when she'll make an egg sac. The time it takes to make an egg sac is completely dependent on when a female is ready to make an egg sac if she is indeed gravid. So the only thing you can do is treat the female with the best hospitality you can until she either makes an egg sac or molts out. No one can know until then. So be patient and hope for the best.

Big abdomen, but frankly it doesn't look like a gravid one...although yours certainly could be.

To trigger the dropping of a sac, dampen the substrate, or part of it.

fwiw, this is what a gravid GBB abdomen typically looks like...notice just how round it is.

Mine dropped about 2 months after pairing. Are you sure they paired? Could be any day or a few more months...increase moisture but dont flood. Make sure theres no water dish. It's possible she dropped and ate it

Thank you sir for responding to my post. my doubts are answered, most likely my gbb is not gravid, but i will wait for it. even though 7 months earlier I saw there was an insetion. Sir, if you don't mind, may I see your GBB enclosure settings?[/QUOTE]

Perut adalah ukuran yang layak, bukan ukuran versi saya dengan kantung hantu meskipun ... dia tampak seperti akan meledak. Mungkin gravid, mungkin tidak. Anda hanya harus menunggu dan melihat.

not sure what you mean by settings
I mean, I want to see your GBB cage, just for comparison

Abdomen is a decent size, not the size my versi was with the phantom sac though... she looked like she was about to burst. May be gravid, maybe not. You'll just have to wait and see.
yes my gbb abdomen is not too big even though it's been 7 months since mating. most likely fail

Milik saya turun sekitar 2 bulan setelah pemasangan. Apakah Anda yakin mereka berpasangan? Bisa setiap hari atau beberapa bulan lagi...meningkatkan kelembapan tetapi tidak membanjiri. Pastikan tidak ada piring air. Mungkin saja dia menjatuhkan dan memakannya
