GBB Bite?

My gbb sling ran up the tweezers and bit me..

Im pretty sure it was a "dry bite" My hand is swollen around the bite and it itches like crazy,

I took some antihistamines but just out of curiosity, how bad is their venom had I not been so lucky?

and what about c. fascatum? (costa rican tiger rump)

I couldnt find any info. (the benedryl made me pretty drowsy tho)

nothign to worry about, very no-toxic venom for the Gbb... same for the tiger rump

No worries; you'll be fine. I was bitten by my C. fasciatum and it didnt really even notice to be honest. May pinch and itch; but nothing to worry about whatsoever

I haven't been bit personaly, but I've heard the venom is very mild. Putting vasoline on the tweesers might help prevent your T from climbing up them.

i woke up because my whole arm was sore, but other than that I was ok.

I tend to be allergic to those sorts of things so that could be it.

I was using the tweezers to pull the water dish out for cleaning. Its a pop bottle lid thats a little bigger than my sling, Im guessing that spooked him, because its the first time i pulled the dish out, and also the first time he was even bothered by the fact that I was in his house.

Ive gone in a few times to feed/remove remains.

Based on your own observations, I am guessing it wasn't a dry bite.
