Thanks all. Any experiences? I've seriously considered getting a few...the main turnoff is that the pricing is steeper than cresties and fewer seem to be around ATM.
one of the main reasons their a little more expensive than Crestie's is their not as common as Crestie's, Leo's or fat tails and are a little harder to breed. but once more people start producing quality CB the price will drop.
I've found through trial and error that a standard chameleon setup is best they are semi-arboreal.Ventilation is key when keeping this spp. alive and healthy.they can't take high temps too well it's best to keep them around 72-78 degrees, they can take temp around the low 50's at night but have to have good heating in the morning other wise they get real sluggish until they warm up.some people say you can feed them baby food but i don't recommend it.nothing beats their natural diet... over ripened fruit, just take some peaches, nectarines, bananas and allow them to soften to the point to were you can easily smash it with two fingers and then blend it up with a little vits and calc and walla!..baby's shouldn't be kept together because they have a bad habit of biting each others tails off..but unlike Crestie's they do grow back.
