I too was lucky enough to have a molt while the forums were down, and i have been waiting patiently to share these pictures with people who will actually appreciate them.
'October' is my G. rosea sling that i purchased at a local expo on Halloween. S/he has refused any food while in my care, but as i've read that this can be typical behaviour, i was quite surprised to find him/her laying on a web mat with legs up in the air.
The entire process took several hours, though once the actual molting began it was over in about 30-45 minutes. I can only imagine how exhausting this must be!
Fortunately, s/he decided to give me a nice vantage point to this display by doing it atop the substrate, instead of down in the burrow previously excavated. Woot!
