the reasons I wouldn't.
1. I think the dubia would cause the hybrid to use the chemical defense and smell up the place.
2. it might be that the hybrid would cannablize the dubia.
3. feeding differences, I think the protein offered to the hybrid would be eaten by the dubia as well and might cause cannabilization by the dubias.

This is different than CAN it be done, that I'm just not sure about.

No, they will not hybridize- they physically cannot mate with one another.

What you may run into is one reproducing faster than the other and taking over. They will not cannibalize each other per se, though if they are not fed enough one *might* feed on another as it molts and is still soft, white, and helpless. Survival of the fittist will come into play.
