Recently my rosehair had been digging under her water dish, but would always retreat back to her hide. Now she has decided she would prefer living under the water dish and has completely cleared out a huge area underneath it. The water dish isn't too heavy and is actually supported pretty well on two sides so I'm not too worried. Just thought this was hilarious. I'll take a picture soon so you guys can laugh at her with me.:D

That's funny you say that. Mine just started digging under the waterdish a couple days ago. It's quite a production for it to move the dirt from one side of the cage to the other. I find it quite entertaining.

My A. seemani did that too. He then wouldn't let me take the water dish out to clean it or refill it  Everytime I opened the lid, he would sit at the entrance to the burrow and just wait for my fingers to touch the bowl. As soon as he felt the bowl move, he would rush out and try to tag. I tried to block him with a spoon but he kept tagging the spoon and as I didn't have a paintbrush I just put a second water bowl in the habitat and let him have his 'lovie'.

Haha, I may have to do that. She really burrowed under there. I heard they were pet rocks and not pet holes but she sure is a hole. She has a hide in there n everything but she just loves it under the dish and won't come out. Can only see her legs when i start to move the cage around a little bit. She's a mean one too and I know if I put my fingers by it she would give me a nice little kiss.

possible pre-molt looking for extra moisture? ever thought of that one? we thought our rosies may have been gravid due to the webbing they did and the fact they hid no stop but they then molted about 3 weeks apart one after another and now are out and about like normal rosies...something to watch for i guess.

She's been eating pretty well. Could possibly still be premolt but it could also be just crazy rosie behavior too haha.

and that is why ive begun to appreciate rosies, when i first got in the hobby i was like "well rosies are blah and silly to own" then i realized they are highly unpredictable and almost always give u some sorta show now and then.

She is definitely one of my most interesting t's. Don't have too many at the moment around 12 and she has proven to be the most unpredictable. Though I just got about 8 new ones so we'll see. :D
