We got some fruit flies for feeders and when opening the top about 3 escaped! Theres no way they're getting back in so I'm just wondering if they might become annoying pests or not?

Your house is going to become infested now.

If there is only three, there is little to no chance they will infest. Even if they do breed, it would not be the worst bug to infest.

Whether you get fruit flies or not is based on what you keep, not on a few escaped feeders. Keep moisture-loving animals like millipedes and woodlice and you will have fruit flies. Keep only dry-loving animals and you won't have fruit flies unless you're leaving fruit peelings around in the kitchen. If fruit flies think conditions look great, they'll just move in anyway.

Olso, are they wingless of flightless. The ones that can’t fly will not infest if released because they are unlikely to survive if not with tons of factors to help them live

This is pretty much it. No one sells reg fruit flies. They are almost all flightless.

You'll be fine...
I dunno man..... I’ve seen them multiply by the second and take over homeowners like a swarm of rabid locusts. Be afraid op. They got it out for you. You’ve been warned.
