Like male tarantulas, I hate knowing their time is so limited.
Noticed late on the night of 25th that Jackson, one of my male bettas, had popeye. I did some research & was planning on stopping by my LPS today to see if they had medicated food or if I had to, would drive to Jacksonville on sunday for some.
I didn't make it to the LPS, but it doesn't matter now
By tonight the underlying infection had progressed to his lips & I think to other parts of his face, but I couldn't place a finger on what looked wrong with his face (he had the marble gene, color/patterns changed on a regular basis.)
I decided he was to old & it was progressing to fast to put him through the struggle of seeing if meds could clear up the infection so I helped him out.
Well, my Avic will be inheriting his KK
