How can you tell if a frong has gone blind asside from the obvious ways, and in horned frogs what causes this to happen?? It gets back to the issue of feeding pinkies i am worried that he might be blind.....:S

anyone else had this problem?

first off how old is he? are you using lightting if so what? does he react to you blowing on him and not fast movement? if he stays still when you blow on him hes either j/k or prob just being lazy which horned frogs are well known for

Yeh first post was a bit vague but I am worried.

Ok I am not using any lighting only heatmats on the side and bottom of the tank hes does not respond to when I blow on him he never really does tho since I have had him hes is about 4 months old his eyes seem to sink into their sockets and when i spray him with water they come back up.

Whats J/K??? i have been looking online for various nutriontal problems I dust crickets every time I feed him so i dont know about that aspect.

Thank you.

His eyes look very sunk into his sockets or rolled back into his head and his pupils look very wide as if no light is getting into them...

One of his eyes looks like it has been stuck together, like theres a film over it.

Ones open and ones closed and i know this is'nt right they arnt lazy to open thier eyes.

I am being serious..

They don't tend to move too much anyways, so don't worry about it. I find they unbury themselves when they're hungry and their head moves up about a quarter of an inch when they see something they want to eat.
