Hi all..
Yes..Gillian is finally posting pics..

First up, Freya. She's my Leopard Gecko that's clicker trained. (She won't eat unless I click a clicker). She was sold to me as a Tangerine/Hi-Yellow/Jungle variant..(Is there such a thing??)

Its black Calci Sand. As for Bob the turd, after I took the pic, I noticed it there. Rather than hassle with Adobe, my baudy humor kicked in..

What a pretty lizard. Jungle is a pattern. Hi-yellow and tangerine are colors. High yellow means that most of the black dissapears and tangering means orange I think. Yours does have an orangeish cast near the base of the tail.

I just got my 2nd Leo yesterday -- it is a normal phase. The one that I got first is a hi-yellow. Now I want a super tangerine. Those are pretty expensive right now, so I'm going to hold off for awhile.

I don't know of the sites reputablility though. I would check around before ordering.

They claim to sell "Super Hypo Carrot-Tail Leopard Gecko (Eublepharis macularius)" for $100-250 a pop.

Heres my Super Hypo Tangerine Carrot Tail Baldy... lol LONG name for a purty critter.
Carrot Tail is for the Orange on the tail. Hypo means not so many spots on the back. Super Hypo means NO spots on the back. Baldy means NO spots on the head. Tangering means theyre Orange instead of Yellow....I think ALL leopard geckos are awesome!!! spotted or not! I have 2.7 of them....Im out of control!

You have some VERY nice Leos. My niece has a regular Leo, and the thing is dos ass tame. Mine never tolerated being handled. Freya is more of a "I'll bite your hand off" than be held kind of girl. LOL

I hear ya on the Some are tame and some not. I have a PERFECT male for your spunky woman. We used to call him Joey...then Spaz...now we call him SOS....short for Spawn Of Satan...hes an evil wee critter....HATES to be held....crazy thing. I also have one female that bites me as much as she can is the shortest time possible...good that she doesnt bite hard. Most of mine are pretty tame probably because they get mauled by my kids everyday!

Freya stiffens up, then whips around, trying to nail me. I'm like, "puhLEEZ! I'm SOOO scared!" I'd so love to have a sweetie I can hold. Freya was "Satan's Mistress" from the moment I got her. =D
