My little salmon pink moulted on Friday and so I've taken a few pictures of him today.

Pretty new to the boards and I didnt say hello in my last post - so, hello! I have this Salmon Pink and a Brazil Black which I only got a month ago. These are the first tarantulas I've had and was lucky enough to watch my little Salmon moult on Friday! :D

I have a bigger cage for him... do folks think he needs it?! That is his current container he's in for the photos! :)

He's looking well nice! Not long before you have to fit him with a coller and lead and get him a greenhouse to live in! {D ;P

Hugs to you lad, it was great you got to watch the whole moult! I've kept t's for 4 months and I have ten. You have had yours for a month and you have 2, none of mine have even moulted never mind me getting to see them!

I would say that he/she could stay in there for at least 1 more molt before you need to re-house it.

Cheers,

Lyle

I just purchased some slings from Gail, and now have a molt-fest going on. OBT's and L. Parahybanas. Wonderful little creeps, fast as hell too. Ended up with one OBT perched on my shoulder, definitely a keeper.

I keep telling Ozzy to get himself a nice snuggly OBT to cuddle up to! {D

And why not I was led to believe OBT's are very snuggly and love to cuddled by their owners! :) :) :)

Oh yes, the OBT's as well as the L. Parahybanas are the clingy type. Usually cling to you with their fangs. Hey, it didn't nail me(this time). Overall, I feel any serious T collector should have OW's in their collection as well as a L. Parahybana or a T. Blondi. (working on getting a Blondi soon) A hole in the wall pet store has a Blondi no one wants for $69.00, so maybe they'll drop the price for me like they did on a Dodoma Baboon no one wanted (just $9.00). The adventure continues...

hi Keith.
Not too far from Biggar--about 30 miles or so.
Livingston is where im from----in the middle between Glasgow and Edinburgh.
I take it you have some Scottish connections.

Hey Ozzy,
Born and raised in Glasgow (East Kilbride). Folks live in Biggar, where I stay sometimes while over in UK on business. Have you visited the collection at Edinburgh Butterfly and Insect World? They have some nice specimens, although last time I was there, some of the enclosures didn't appear to me as though they really catered for their occupants' requirements.
