It was about 3/4 inches. Even then it was showing the adult colors but they weren't near as bright. Each molt it gets brighter. It has molted every month since I got it so needless to say they grow pretty quick.

Very nice Brian. I love these guys. We got one at the beginning of the year about 1/2" then and just got 4 more 1/4" slings this month. They most certainally are great eaters and fairly fast growers. BEEEEEAUTIFUL!

Awesome T! Is your's as shy as mine is? (She's really shy by the way)...

I love the tigerrump. (C.fasciata, but tigerrump is such a cool common name). Beautiful colors and one of the more underated webbers too!

Funny enough...I've had my girl for a year now, and she just recently molted. And about a week later I feed her, and believe it or not, it's the first time I've seen her eat a cricket. Not the first time she's eaten mind you...but the first time I've seen it.

I know she eats them, just never got to see it before. Is that odd?

I haven't really worked with it very much but it doesn't seem all that agressive but it is fairly skittish. It kicked hairs at me one time but other than that it usually runs in it's hole.

Oh and thanx for the nice compliments you all. This is one of my favorites along w/ the GBB.

Here are some older pictures of this gluttonous spider ;) As you can see the colors get brighter w/ age.
