just wanted to share some pics. i found a spot today on a walk with hundreds of snails. took a few home for fun. very pretty! most have five stripes on their shells but a couple have only one.
Cool snails! While in Ruidoso, NM with my son a couple of weeks ago we found some similar snails. He wanted to keep some of them so I bought a sterilite container and put some compost material in it with several plants. We kept them for about a week and let them go before we left. The most interesting part was watching them mate.
