found a snake

Went to walk around and found this big Blackneck garter. I usually pass these up and probably going to let it go but it was big and impressive enough for me to want to bring it home and take some pics. Stunk me up pretty bad, bad enough that I went home right after I found it. It had it's head in a hole, probably looking for food so I just picked it up before it saw me. I should add that it's an E. Blackneck

i would have trouble letting that one go. awesome looking snake. i have come across checkered garters in southern tex., but was too far south of blackneck range

have to agaree, that is one of the best looking garter i have ever seen before
personally like the blue garter too
