The post in the breeding report will come once I either kill all the eggs (accidentally of course) or once they molt to 2nd instars. Until then, I'll just announce here that I found this in my H. maculata cage this morning. Whe was not to fond of me taking it though (see pic below). It is quite early, so I only peaked inside the eggsac. Once it has been a few days, I'll open it up and get a better idea of numbers. These eggs are tiny!

Very nice! If you dont mind my asking, why did you take it so early?

I don't mind at all. Typically I don't take them until they are a couple weeks old or later. In this case I wanted to test a newer incubation method on this species. (New to me, not new to the hobby). recently took a clutch P. murinus from the mom at day 3 or 5. All but one egg made it to the 1st instar stage. My hope is to monitor their development so I can gather data on the length of each stage for various species.

It looks like H. macs make a hammock style eggsac like OBT's, am I right about that?

same here, my girl (RIP) popped out about 100 babies

good luck, man. the babies require a lot of patience as they are very very flighty, but if you have done P murinus before then you know what to expect lol
