Yup. A female D. tityus, unless you live within the relatively limited range of D. granti. Set her up in a container full of rotten wood and leaves and she may lay eggs.

Adults enjoy a dish of watered down maple syrup (with some paper towels to prevent spillage) or sliced bananas, apples, and other fruit.

its kind of a cool bug, but insects arent really my thing. I think i'll put it in the classifieds and if it doesnt move ill just set it loose in the woods.

Cool find! Are you in the U.S.? Regardless, I dont think you can sell native species can you? Also, you probably wont get much for it as someone could probably go catch one themself, and why not realease it back where it belongs? Just my 2 cents.

Actually it is not illegal and they go for about 9-15 dollars for a grub. Possibly more since it is an adult that is most likely mated and gravid. I wish I could catch them myself. They live here supposedly but I've never seen one.
