Forked Tail Sceloporus gracosius

I don't know how common this is, but yesterday I found a baby S. gracosius in my backyard with a forked tail.

Its' actually quite common in lizards with the ability to regenerate their tails. Often, the tail will break, but not completely be removed. This will, however, be enough to trigger a new tail to start growing, and the original tail will heal, leaving this forked tail. In this case, it appears that this little guy has actually regenerated a tail twice, since neither of the "forks" looks like the original tail.
