Ok, I don't know if I believe this but some scientist are saying some weird stuff about A. seemani that sounds like a NEWB post or troll talk...here is the link...don't shoot the messenger!! this is about as bad as the T's drinking thru thier feet business!

theres no link but i have heard it as well. not sure if it is true but thats hat ive read and also.

but i have heard of this on here before. i acually have a 2 inch A. seemani but i doubt it would even be viable to get it out and let it walk around to see if it is true.

The webbing through the feet thing is really old news but a very interesting bit of news everytime someone comes across it. It is real, they do in fact have special foot pads that secrete silk for grip/traction - if you prod around the net for a bit you will find the research but the articles are pay per view (you can read the abstracts for free though).

I'm open to this as long as substantial proof is provided.

They did find out after all that MM tarantulas make a special silk for their sperm webs that isn't from the spinnerettes. We didn't know that until later.
