Im thinkin lepidoptera spp. silken up pretty good

some kind of moth I bet, its gotta head like a pillar

does it have feet?

just little stubs.

i looked at pictures of webbing moth caterpillars, but i didn't see any that look anything like this... they all looked like caterpillars :?

dont you think the head looks like a caterpillar, and look for pro-legs

100% Lepidoptera. You can tell by the triangle shape created by the sutures on the head called 'ad frontals'.

It may be a bag worm spp. try putting some tiny sticks in with it it should glue all these to its web, if it does its definately a bag worm.

Females do not leave thier caseing, males will search females out to breed

It make sense with lack of color
