Fluffy's visit

A friend of our neighbor came over today with a new impulse buy....oh oh.
He's planning to release Fluffy when he gets too large for his house, in a pond on his property.
The idiot farm store near our house sells gators for $50, so anyone can buy one.
I didn't bother to lecture since he's a hopeless case, but Fluffy's pretty cute at this size, and we introduced him to our rescue box turtle, Urtle.
Urtle wasn't impressed with Fluffy!

Its a shame they don't stay that size, they really are cute as babies.


Ummm what happens if fluffy decides the pond isn't good enough and tries to relocate on his own? Hope your friend has lots of money for a good fence LOL

the scary/amusing part is that he lives VERY close to a local lake that is the prime fishing and skiing lake in these parts. I can just see Fluffy at 12' down on the dock, scaring the boaters :O
Too bad that buying an alligator is as easy as buying groceries!
