So,I have bred my female only once maybe a year or two ago and have kept her solo ever since...she had a brood which was planned then a second which I took as her just saving some for later..that happened maybe a month or 3 later....the other night during feeding I saw her covered in babies again...mins you she has been alone for a very long time(close to a year) I was told the did not have parthenogenesis capabilities....but it seems otherwise. There is no mistaking species so can the save sperm that long?

Yes, scorpions can save sperm for a very long time, they will lose the sperm if they molt.

Scorpions don't molt anymore after reaching adulthood/sexual maturity.

But yes, they can store sperm for a long time, so it's not parthenogenesis.

Interesting, I'd just assumed they continued to grow, like tarantulas. That is a good bit of info, thanks for the tip. 🤠

Female Scorpion withdraws from sperm bank.
More Centruroides Gracilus Scorplings on the way.

That is what I was thinking...it's quite impressive that they can store for that long.
