who would have ever thought this kid would wind up collecting Ts, Snakes and Lizards. Check the eye, no fear, pure curiosity
This photo is old, she's a young adult now

so we get Giant Hoppers in my neighborhood. This huge one jumped on her head and she whispered "Dad, check it out"
I saw it, ran inside to grab a camera and took the pic. She just sat there observing it

We have around 30 tarantulas, a hisser, 2 leopard Geckos, a Super Dwarf Reticulated Python (AMEL), Clown Ball Python, Kenyan Sand Boa, 2 Rabbits and a dog
Clown-natural mutation. I saw one in a book BEFORE there were any BP morphs! I thought, someone should work with that.

Its only in the recent years that breeders have been working with clown. I don’t know why it took sooo long.

After my Pied, clown is my favorite.

I love Clowns as well because it is 'normal' coloration just amplified. I prefer morphs that still have snake markings just tweaked. The one in that photo is pre morph as well because the picture is around a decade old.
Here's mine

Raising kids without fear of inverts and reptiles is something I wish more people did. I wouldn't be the person I am today if my parents hadn't thought me to respect wildlife and be curious but cautious about "creepy" critters. My parents kept a 4" native Texas centipede in a kritter keeper when I was 6 and let me drop crickets in and watch it eat; I firmly believe that is the #1 reason tarantula keeping attracted me!
