Inspired by my convo with lizardman here are some pics of my tank. Its a 90 gallon planted... these are rather old and my digital camera sucks... alot. And I am none to skilled with one... But I think you will get the point. Fish are my first love before tarantulas.

First a blurry pic of the tank as a whole... I tried to dim the light to get rid of some glare... but I dont think it worked to well.

very blurry pic of my elephant nose but its the only full shot I have. Note his beautiful blue ring around his eyes. And in the bottom is an incredibly blurry mystery species goby which did not make it I assume due to it being a brackish fish. Could not confirm that its brackish because it was a mystery fish that showed up in a shrimp shipment but most gobys are...

My favorite plant, riccia fluitans with a couple shrimp and neons swimming around. The bubbles to the right are from what is known as pearling. This occurs at the tips of plants(on a riccia patch it looks amazing all though you cant tell in my pics) when there is enough Co2 being introduced to the tank. In this case It has been brushed off ...

and lastly a pic of my snake fish munching on a shrimp which along with crickets and earth worms... and unfortuantley my neons(I have to replenish my school once a month or so... luckily they are much harder to catch) make up his diet. This is by far my favorite fish I have ever encountered. She has the most personality... you would have to see it in person. Seriously fun fish to watch.

I know that there are other fish lovers on here so please feel free to post your pics here. Especially if any of you lucky folks own any FW sting rays or shovel nose catfish's... My next project in about 9 months will be a 200 gallon or so to house south american catfishes and south american sting rays... specificly leopoldi stingrays and zebra stripped shovel nose catfish... gahhh I cant wait... the whole project will run me about 6 grand and take up tremendous amounts of space so I need my new place with the fish room to house all my projects...

Fish were one of my first pet/hobbiest experiences as well. Lovely tank you have going there. Right now I have a 40 gallon in which I'm raising up some angels for breeding, and my so far empty and cycling 175 reef tank. I'll set the stuff and get some pics manyana.

on the neon's getting eaten note - When keeping Angelfish in a community tank, you get some of the bigger ones snacking on neons and cardinals. I found dumping a dozen feeder guppies with their tail fin slightly cut so they can't swim as fast will make this problem almost dissapear.

Those rays are beauties arent they....I noticed you live in NoVa, if you ever make it to Charles Town West Virginia, there's a pet shop right in the midst of town on route 9 that sells them often times. It's worth the trip just to look too...huge fish room.

Hey Burnpile... if you cuold get me the name of that shop it would be really appreciated... considering that shipping would be way over a 100 bucks if I could get rid of that that would be rad.

Another good place for you to check would be Wally's on Little River Turnpike in Annandale. Been several years since I've been there, but he used to be THE MAN for fish and supplies.
