First time witnessing this odd behavior in my B.Dubia colony.

there were 6 or 7 juvies eating a freshly molted juvie... it was still very much alive.... I have never seen this. The dead I know get eaten... but opurtunistic cannabilism?

has anyone else witnessed this?

What do you feed your B.dubia roaches?
Are the wings of your males chewed off?
It sounds a lot as if your roaches miss some protein in their diet, try feeding additional dry dogfood or fishflakes!

I feed a strict veggie only diet. So this sounds like my prob. I will start adding cat food... I sued to but havent in a while... I dont have a dog so I assume cat food is good enough. And yes some of the males have chewed wings. I wondered about that too. Thanks all.
