first time field collecting, what do i expect?

first of all i'd like to say this is my first real post.. Tomorrow I'm going to go out to some private land that has a mixture of swamps and low land area's to woodland area's and capture and release anything that catches my eye, I have my hopes up for a trap door spider that is native to florida to keep as a specimen and pet; i live near tampa. Hopefully I'll find some nice herps n' verts to take some pics of! i know where to look, i think?

TL;DR: A novice checklist for everything you basically need for collecting/Entomology/etc. -especially the things that one mutters to themselves "damn, if only i would have brought ______."

check THIS out. some good discussion going on in the first page of that forum. insects might require a little different gear, but much of the same nonetheless. i find a net handy for the flying stuff. that might be one thing not on the spider list
