*Hop around excited*
My first Tarantula, Gigabite, the A versicolor, just molted last night. She is (or was) 1/2 inch long, and had been eating fairly reliably once or twice a week for the first month I had her, so I let her go for a week so I could show my friends coming over on the weekend, the tarantula eating a cricket, and sure, she says she's not hungry. *headdesk*
Then another week and a half of hopping around worrying, paranoid that I have misinterpreted her not eating and sealing herself up in web for premolt and that she's sick, and reminding myself, this is normal, this is normal, she hasn't done anything to worry about yet....
She did it overnight and I saw the exuvium sitting beside her in her nest a few minutes ago. Looks like no complications. W00t.
