I was transferring my 1in P. irminia sling into a bigger enclosure last night when it decided to make a run for it. I should have been a little more careful, because before I knew it, it was out, across my desk, leapt unto my hand, then to my lap (thankfully I was sitting "Indian" style) and up my pant leg
. I pressed my jeans tight against my leg so it couldn't get past my calf, and slowly moved my hand down to get it to back out into a waiting container.
Whew! It could have gone a lot worse than it did, and I'm actually VERY thankful that it went up my pant leg, otherwise I might never have found it, and my cats might have made a quick snack of her/him.
All is well now, and its already started construction in its new home.
