First sac (picture intensive)

Grammostola aureostriata paraguay form

30 days ago our girl (mated and brought from a friend) made a sac after being with us since Feb 12th 2004

Here was the finished product, this girl is a good 7.5" so see the sac in comparison

Here it was today when we were about to take it

She let it go easy then chased and took it back lol! I threw about 5 crix in whilst my husband got it from her
I was shaking when I was opening it

I first saw darkness in colouration within the sac and was real worried


until...
some babies popped out to say hi

followed by a couple more I coaxed a few onto my hand

We arent entirley sure how many there are lol

Thinkin maybe in the region of 250/300! Anyhow we are so please with this being our first sac and wanted to share

well i wont send abroad but a sling will be in the region of £5 which is about $7.5 its not been 100% decided yet

Does anyone know how long it will take, roughly, for them to become spiderlings as they are at Nymph2 just now?


Still havent counted them, cant face it lol! xx

I got contacted today by a friend who has some of my nymphs and all 3 successfully moulted into slings The rest of the sac have darkened but not moulted yet pic to follow when they do
