These will be the first ever CB Phlogiellus inermis slings. This species has never been in the hobby of course. In a couple of months I'll be shipping some out!

In the meantime, does anyone have any idea how long it will take the nymphs to molt into first instars? This species is a selenocosmiine, so anyone who has bred Selenocosmia, Phlogius sp. please chime in!!

Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Meanwhile, enjoy the pics!

(And yes, I noticed the mites - they are phoretic detritivores, as ID'd by a biologist on Arachnophiles.co.uk :))

18-55mm kit lens, with a macro filter. That's my gear. The pictures above were taken by a friend of mine, using the Nikkor Micro 105mm VR and Nikon D300. :)

I've made a mini-incubator of sorts. The ambient humidity here in Singapore is very high, 80% and above - so humidity and moisture is not an issue. What I'm worried about are pesky phorid flies. Will they attack the eggs and nymphs?

Also, can someone please tell me how many good eggs I have, from this picture (sorry about the quality )?

Perhaps if this was posted in the "Tarantula Questions & Discussions" part of the forum, you'd receive more responses.
