First Defensive T...

well, today was the day that i never thought would happen.... my gf bought me an H. lividum... for the longest time she didn't want any sort of defensive T in the house.... so she buys me a 4" cobalt

anyways, this being my first defensive experience, it was very thrilling to say the least... she had to be moved to a new enclosure temporarily so i could put new substrate in... so i go to move her and *WHAM* threat-posture-from-hell
struck at me a few times, never hit me... but man is she fast!

anyways my new baby is in her new home all nice and happy until i can get something a bit bigger...

i'll try to get some pics... my digital camera isn't very good...

unfortunately she has 7 legs due to a molt issue with her last molt... but other than that she's a fat healthy happy agressive as anything cobalt....

she's also the brightest lividum that i've seen up close, gorgeous!!! the blue is incredibly intense... i gave her about 6" of substrate but she's in a pet pal for now until i can get her an aquarium...

Cobalts are a great species, you will love her. May not see her much but it is a very interesting T to own.

Apparently, Haplopelmas can moult accordinaly to repair lost limbs... Anyone have any info on this?

My Lividum had a full pedipalp missing and a spinneret gone, but she gave me an egg!

Shes hopefull gravid once more too
