Finding Pinkie Mice

Where do I find pinkie mice for my baby snake? Idk if we can only get them frozen which he refuses to eat. Are there ppl on the boards that sell them - I'll continue to wander the boards but couldn't seem to find any so far. . .

Im not sure where you can find some in your area as I live in the UK, how do you prepare them? cause you can defrost them in a bowl of warm water then feed.

You are in a fairly large metropolitan area. There aren't any stores that specialize in reptiles around? Most of those type shops will sell live mice of all sizes, including pinkies.

You don't have any lps's or a petco, petsmart etc? They usually have live mice as well as frozen.

Have you tried blow drying the frozen pinkie after it's dethawed? That was the only way my BP would touch FT. I had to thaw in hot water, and then blow dry them until they were nice and warm. I also had to "dance" them around on the end of my long tongs, if I just dropped it for her...nope she didn't care. Although, IIRC you are feeding a baby hot, so I don't know how smart dancing it around on tongs is...(I'm a python/boa kinda gal, I've never kept hots).

And yes, I've never had a problem buying them (live and frozen) from my LPS.
